Haig Lake

Well it’s been a long time since I posted.

Keeping it simple. This hike was Curtis and I. We did it July 12, 2020.

It was a short hike, 8.6 ish km and only 400 m elevation gain. The lake is situated inside the property boundaries of Castle Ski Resort. It’s always so windy down in that area. We hiked up the ski out, got to the lake, ate lunch, then came back on the other side of the valley.

The bear grass was in bloom as were all the other wildflowers. Saw an elk with furry antlers (rutting season).
